The SenTec Digital monitoring system
is able to store patient data in its on-board memory (or
on an external datalogger) for subsequent downloading and
analysis.
A choice of software is available for
you to choose. The SenTec DMS comes with a copy of SenTec's
own software; V-STATS. Alternatively Artemis Medical
can supply Stowood Scientific's "Download 2001".
V-STATS
V-STATS is a PC-based software for downloading measurement
data (SpO2, PCO2, PR) of the SenTec Digital Monitor (SDM)
from
its internal memory or from the memory card of the SenTec
Datalogger and for subsequent data viewing, analysing and
reporting.
The data analysis criteria are user adjustable; data analysis
includes automatic detection and marking of events, artifacts,
and invalid
measurement periods. The results of the data analysis can
be printed along with the graphs as a report.
In many cases the data will contain
measurements from multiple patients. When downloading / importing
data from the SDM, from
the memory card or from a raw data file stored on the PC
or an external drive V-STATS automatically separates the
data into
different measurement periods. By means of the start-time
and end-time the measurement periods can be attributed to
patients. The
criteria to separate measurement periods are user-adjustable.
By means of the start-time and end-time the detected measurement
periods can be attributed to the desired patients.
DOWNLOAD 2001
SSI's 'DownLoad 2001' software transfers
stored (trend) data from pulse oximeters to a Windows PC, then
displays, saves, analyses and prints. The program is suitable
for use with a wide range of SpO2 and tcpCO2 monitors.
Record the patient data with the monitor and then use DownLoad
2001 to transfer data from the monitor to the PC with the
cable provided and save it on the computer hard disk. You can
then see the data as it arrives at the PC and gets saved: and
access it by patient name or identifier.
Display with Windows in
SVGA screen resolutions (800 x 600, 1024 x 768, 1280 x
1024, etc). See the whole recording on one screen
• The Ruler
gives the overall view of the recording
• Zoom in to part of it, nudge, page or pan through the recording
• Cursors show instantaneous values, right hand mouse button enables rapid
axis redrawing, exclusion etc.
• Set the time intervals and axes both graphically and digitally
• Create your own montages for quick display changes. These are your favourite
combinations of vertical axes, times, colours, trace order, etc set up and named
by yourself.
• Export the data to spreadsheets - Excel, Quattro Pro etc in ASCII or DIF
format
• Mark periods for Analysis or for exclusion from analysis
• Combine the best parts of recordings into a single file
• Analyse
the saturation, CO2 and pulse rate (and
other parameters/events if recorded)
• Select
the periods to analyse, or to exclude by marking
• Calculate
desaturation dips and pulse rise peak counts
• Plot
cumulative SpO2, CO2 (Tosca only) and pulse rate
frequency graphs
• Plot
8hr/page graphs for saturation, pulse rate and
both
• Show
means, %'s of time below particular saturation
levels, medians, modes, mean nadir, standard deviation
etc.
• Print
the traces and/or the analyses and plots in B&W or colour
