For the accurate diagnosis of sleep disordered breathing / sleep apnoea / snoring in the unattended situation it is important to have both sufficient physiological parameters, and a minimal number of simple sensor attachments. In the sleep lab, Visi-lab is the obvious choice, but what can you best use when you need to study the patient at home?

We are introducing Stowood's The New Grey Flash Home Recorder!

It is particularly simple, small, robust and battery powered recorder with only 2 patient attachments:

•oximeter probe
•nasal prongs with clip-on microphone

Gives all of the following signals:

• SpO2 and Pulse Rate using an internal Masimo oximeter (reusable or disposable probes) combined with:
• Nasal airflow by nasal pressure from oral/nasal prongs or plug-in microphone
• Sound level from oral/nasal prongs
• Plethysmography pulse profile showing automatic arousals
• Actigraphy body movement
• Body position Left, Right, Prone, Supine & Sitting Up

• Patient event marking button
• Full audio sound recording (above 8 hours of sound)
• Internal Flash memory and USB technology for transferring data to your PC
• Powered by 2 AA alkaline or rechargeable batteries
