How we support you
Technical Support
With fully trained engineers covering the whole of Scotland, England and Wales we offer comprehensive support for all of our products.
All of our engineers are fully trained in all of the products we supply, and are able to do the majority of servicing on-site if required.
Our "Essential Training" courses are ideal for biomedical engineers who wish to have a better understanding of the physiology associated with the technology they may be dealing with.
Alternatively, service and user manuals for all our products (where available) are available for free download from our site.
ISO 9001
Artemis Medical announced that on 7th July 1999, it secured its ISO 9001 Quality Management Certification covering their Sales, Service and Distribution functions.
"When you buy a product, you have to look at the whole-life costs. Far too many companies hide the total cost of ownership until it's too late for the customer. We think that our combination of products and after-sales support offer the best value on the market" said David Stow, Managing Director of Artemis Medical.
Free Product Training for Life
In keeping with Artemis Medical's philosophy of customer satisfaction, all of our Sales Specialists offer free initial training on any new products. Additionally, further on-going training may be requested at any time.
Contracts
Our Service Contracts are unique in offering you the opportunity to tailor support to your own individual requirements. Selecting from one or two visits per year, you can then go on to adopt 'Spare Parts Insurance', 'Call Out Insurance', 'Service Training' and 'Competency Training'.
What does it mean for you?
Well, if you already have an in-house engineering department then you can choose the level of support that we give you. So, if you want to do all the first-line maintenance then we can train you (if necessary) and supply all the spare parts for routine maintenance and servicing.
Looking for a better way to maintain your equipment?
Artemis Medical offer a number of unique service support packages which can be tailored to suit most installations. In particular, we offer a special package for in-house EME Departments. E-mail us for more information.
A highly skilled, experienced and committed national Technical Support team offering fast, efficient and cost effective solutions to the challenge of equipment maintenance and training can give you the customer both 'peace of mind' and 'value for money'.
It is in this regard that we lead the field in providing 'on-site' technical training for biomedical engineers and unique to Artemis Medical - 'Competency Based Training' (CBT) for Clinical Staff. This has proven to be a real asset in ensuring that staff can operate complex modern medical equipment safely and efficiently.
Additionally, the company has recently launched a new initiative for training biomedical engineers. Called "Essential Training", Artemis Medical now offers specialised clinical training courses tailored for biomedical engineers. These cover a range of useful subjects and are aimed at both new biomedical engineers and 'old hands' who want a refresher in some of the applications of newer technology.
Electrical and electronic equipment should never be disposed of with general household waste but must be separately collected for their proper treatment and recovery. The crossed-out bin symbol, shown on our products, reminds you of the need to dispose of the product correctly at the end of its life. In this way you will assist in the recovery, recycling and reuse of many of the materials used in this product. At the end of the life of your product please contact us for information on recycling arrangements.
When buying a new product we can also inform you of the possibility to return another end of life product of equivalent type that has fulfilled the same functions as the supplied equipment. With your help it is possible to reduce the amount of electrical and electronic waste ending up in landfill and to improve quality of life by preventing the release of potentially hazardous substances into the environment.
