Technical Support

With fully trained engineers covering the whole of Scotland, England and Wales we offer comprehensive support for all of our products.

All of our engineers are fully trained in all of the products we supply, and are able to do the majority of servicing on-site if required.

Our "Essential Training" courses are ideal for biomedical engineers who wish to have a better understanding of the physiology associated with the technology they may be dealing with.

Alternatively, service and user manuals for all our products (where available) are available for free download from our site. Click on the Downloads button above.

Please contact David Mulvey, our Technical Support Manager, on 01322 628877 for further details on the range of options we are able to offer.

ISO 9002

Artemis Medical announced that on 7th July 1999, it secured its ISO 9002 Quality Management Certification covering their Sales, Service and Distribution functions.

"We have worked hard to achieve this in such a short time, and are proud to say that all our systems meet or exceed the quality standards in all areas. I am delighted that we can now give our customers relevant documentation to show that we offer the highest levels of service and support," said Chris Worrell, Marketing Director.

"Those hospitals that are already dealing with us know our commitment to service and how we always aim to please."

The Company has also developed new strategies for those customers looking for good value items with excellent after-sales support. "In some market segments the customer gets very little choice - there is often one major company dominating the market" said Chris Worrell. "We are offering an alternative - a highly reactive and focussed team which can make the buying and owning process less stressful".

Artemis Medical's Sales Department has recently expanded to cover the whole of Great Britain with five trained Specialists, plus their own office in Scotland. At the same time their Service Department, led by David Mulvey has been offering competitive support packages for those customers who don't want to do their own servicing.

"When you buy a product, you have to look at the whole-life costs. Far too many companies hide the total cost of ownership until it's too late for the customer. We think that our combination of products and after-sales support offer the best value on the market" said David Stow, Managing Director of Artemis Medical.

Contracts

Our Service Contracts are unique in offering you the opportunity to tailor support to your own individual requirements.
Selecting from one or two visits per year, you can then go on to adopt 'Spare Parts Insurance', 'Call Out Insurance', 'Service Training' and 'Competency Training'.

What does this mean for you?

Well, if you already have an in-house engineering department then you can choose the level of support that we give you. So, if you want to do all the first-line maintenance then we can train you (if necessary) and supply all the spare parts for routine maintenance and servicing.

Looking for a better way to maintain your equipment?
Artemis Medical offer a number of unique service support packages which can be tailored to suit most installations. In particular, we offer a special package for in-house EME Departments. E-mail us for more information.

The company's Technical Support department continues to develop our commitment to an even closer focus on meeting customer needs. The Company is ISO 9001:2000 registered.

A highly skilled, experienced and committed national Technical Support team offering fast, efficient and cost effective solutions to the challenge of equipment maintenance and training can give you the customer both 'peace of mind' and 'value for money'.

Artemis Medical believe that the support of highly complex medical equipment can only be achieved by 'open' communication channels between clinical staff, hospital biomedical departments and our own technical support personnel. We do this in many small ways, such as having the mobile telephone number of each of our Field Support Engineers printed on their business cards to improve user access to our support.

Whilst many other organisations offer repairs and service contracts, they fail to give the commitment to meeting the essential training needs of both clinical users and biomedical engineers.

It is in this regard that we lead the field in providing 'on-site' technical training for biomedical engineers and unique to Artemis Medical - 'Competency Based Training' (CBT) for Clinical Staff. This has proven to be a real asset in ensuring that staff can operate complex modern medical equipment safely and efficiently.

Additionally, the company has recently launched a new initiative for training biomedical engineers. Called "Essential Training", Artemis Medical now offers specialised clinical training courses tailored for biomedical engineers. These cover a range of useful subjects and are aimed at both new biomedical engineers and 'old hands' who want a refresher in some of the applications of newer technology.

Free Product Training for Life

In keeping with Artemis Medical's philosophy of customer satisfaction, all of our Sales Specialists offer free initial training on any new products. Additionally, further on-going training may be requested at any time.

Artemis Medical is also unique in offering CBT (Competency Based Training) on all its products, ensuring a high level of competency for all users.

blob WEEE Compliance

WEEE bin

Electrical and electronic equipment should never be disposed of with general household waste but must be separately collected for their proper treatment and recovery. The crossed-out bin symbol, shown on our products, reminds you of the need to dispose of the product correctly at the end of its life. In this way you will assist in the recovery, recycling and reuse of many of the materials used in this product. At the end of the life of your product please contact us for information on recycling arrangements.

When buying a new product we can also inform you of the possibility to return another end of life product of equivalent type that has fulfilled the same functions as the supplied equipment. With your help it is possible to reduce the amount of electrical and electronic waste ending up in landfill and to improve quality of life by preventing the release of potentially hazardous substances into the environment.
